| Emile Cahen, Jr,
was a professional artist whose watercolor, oil and acrylic
paintings are displayed in numerous private and business
collections throughout the United States.
He was an alumni of
Richmond Professional Institute (now VCU), the American Academy of
Art, and studied under John D. Slavin, the noted portrait
painter.
While he produced
spectacular rural landscapes, river and wildlife scenes over his 60
year art career, in his latter years he focused on scenes of his
hometown city of Richmond Virginia.
His unique eye for
detail brings Richmond Scenes to life with people, animals,
automobiles, and the colors of the seasons.
